Couple’s Story
Their journey began in 2011 at a debate competition in medical college -Deepti lost the debate but won Harshal’s heart with a spontaneous punch and a spark that would later turn into a lifelong bond. What started as college banter turned into deep love, strengthened over coffee breaks, evening walks, endless conversations, and even silly fights. As they grew together – Deepti becoming a Medical Officer with the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Harshal pursuing his MD in Internal Medicine from Jaipur, they also stood shoulder to shoulder as COVID-19 frontline warriors. Their story is not just about love, but resilience, growth, and unwavering partnership.
When they envisioned a fairy-tale wedding, we at Desert Pearl were honored to bring that dream to life. With the breathtaking backdrop of The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, we meticulously planned every detail alongside their incredibly supportive families, especially Harshal’s mother and sister. Being from outside Udaipur, Deepti and Harshal entrusted us with full confidence, and we ensured that distance was never a barrier. Every call, every idea, and every moment were handled with care – because we believe weddings like theirs deserve nothing less. It was a joy to witness their love story unfold into a celebration that was not only magical but also deeply personal.
Wedding Highlights
Mehendi
The intimate Mehendi ceremony unfolded in a mesmerizing setting adorned with vintage brass furniture and intricate palace artwork. Embracing tradition, the couple wore classic shades of green. The bride, seated gracefully on a royal swing, had her hands adorned with beautiful henna patterns, surrounded by laughter and warmth.
Sangeet
The Sangeet night sparkled with celebration, music, and dance. It was an evening of unfiltered joy as the couple revelled with their loved ones. The bride dazzled in a sequinned emerald green gown, while the groom stood out in an iridescent blue kurta embellished with rich red embroidery and a majestic safa.
Haldi
Set by the poolside with panoramic views of a serene lake, lush gardens, and distant hills, the Haldi ceremony radiated vibrant energy. The decor, in cheerful hues of yellow and red, created a perfect backdrop for the festivities. The bride glowed in a matching yellow and red lehenga, accessorized with delicate floral jewelry, as her friends and family lovingly applied haldi.
Wedding
The wedding was a regal celebration held in the majestic courtyard of a grand palace hotel. Dressed in traditional tones of red, cream, and gold, the couple exchanged garlands atop a floating floral mandap encircled by water and ornate jharokas. As fireworks lit up the sky, white and red blooms seamlessly blended with the palace’s architectural beauty, creating a breathtaking setting for their union.
