The wedding of Anirudh and Prerna was a beautiful celebration of elegance and simplicity, held at the stunning JW Marriott, Jaipur. Their love story began through their families—Anirudh was the first boy Prerna met, and she was the first girl he was introduced to. Their connection was instant, and within five months, they were ready to embark on their forever journey together. Anirudh found his soulmate in Prerna, someone who mirrored his thoughts and values, while Prerna found not just a loving partner, but also the family she had always dreamed of being a part of. This “two states” couple—Prerna from Bengaluru and Anirudh from Nagpur—chose Jaipur as the destination for their joyous two-day celebration, filled with breathtaking decor, heartfelt moments, and endless entertainment.
Festivities kicked off with a vibrant carnival-themed Mehndi, featuring playful flamingo elements and a color palette of blues and pinks. Guests were welcomed with hats and real floral tiaras, and the couple made a joyful entrance amidst bubbles and color bombs. The Mayra ceremony followed, held separately for both families with a cheerful yellow theme highlighted by marigold blooms, high tea, music, and showering of gifts for the bride and groom. As evening descended, the couple exchanged rings in an intimate engagement ceremony, setting the tone for a night full of music, dance, and celebration.
The following morning began with a bright and cheerful Haldi ceremony, where the décor was drenched in yellow hues inspired by the haldi itself. Post-Haldi, the traditional Bari Bharna ceremony showcased all the gifts given to the bride, delighting the guests. The wedding procession was nothing short of royal, with a shahi lawazma, horse, band, and a dashing groom leading the way. Prerna made a graceful entrance under a floral chaadar, setting the stage for their enchanting sundowner phere ceremony at The Hawa Mahal within JW Marriott. The mandap, designed especially for them, featured Lord Shreenathji as the divine backdrop and was adorned with bells and fragrant rajnigandha flowers. Under the setting sun, surrounded by blessings and love, Anirudh and Prerna took their seven vows.
The celebrations concluded with a grand reception in the main lawn, designed with an elegant English theme. The bride-groom stage was crafted with personal touches based on the bride’s vision, wrapping up the wedding on a memorable and picture-perfect note.
