Wedding Destination Guide

Wedding Destinations in India

Wedding destinations in India range from lake palaces to desert forts, hill stations and beaches. We plan weddings in ten of them, with an Udaipur-based team. Here’s how to choose.

Short version: we plan weddings in seven Rajasthan cities (Udaipur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Bikaner and Ranthambore) and in three more wedding destinations in India: Goa, Mussoorie and Kerala. We plan overseas too. A 2-day wedding in Rajasthan typically costs ₹40 lakh to ₹6 crore or more.

What wedding destinations in India cost

There’s no single price. Destination, venue, dates, guest count and the venue’s own proposal all move the number. Here’s what we can say for Rajasthan, from our own guides:

  • A 2-day destination wedding in Rajasthan typically costs ₹40 lakh to ₹6 crore or more.
  • A full buyout of a luxury property in Rajasthan generally starts above ₹1 crore.
  • Planner fees usually run 8 to 12 percent of the total wedding budget.
  • November to February is peak season, and hotel rates often rise substantially.

For Goa, Mussoorie, Kerala or overseas, ask us for a proposal. Read the Rajasthan cost guide, the Udaipur and Jaipur budget guide and our planning fees.
