Couple’s Story

Introduced by mutual friends in the United States, Palak and Udit felt an undeniable spark from the very first meeting. Their bond deepened on Halloween night in 2015, when a casual evening at a bar turned into heartfelt conversations about life and the future. That magical night marked the beginning of their beautiful love story.

Although they live overseas, both Palak and Udit have always cherished their Indian roots and dreamed of a traditional wedding steeped in culture. They envisioned a royal celebration with just their closest loved ones—and Jaipur, with its timeless elegance and regal charm, was the perfect choice. The majestic Hotel Fairmont, with its old-world aura, set the tone for their wedding day, while Hilton Jaipur provided the vibrant backdrop for their Haldi and Cocktail functions.

Wedding Highlights

Cocktail – Lights & Glam

A glittering affair themed around “lights and glam,” the cocktail night sparkled with opulence. Crystal chandeliers, plush ornate seating, and lush floral arrangements transformed the space into a luxe party zone. Palak dazzled in a silver-studded white gown that caught every glimmer of light as she twirled on the dance floor with her family. Udit looked dashing in a deep blue bandhgala with a contemporary silhouette, enhanced by a striking gold chain.

Haldi – Bright, Fun, and Traditional

Held poolside at the Hilton, the Haldi ceremony was vibrant and joyful. Two cozy cabanas shielded the couple from the sun as family and friends showered them with love and turmeric. The décor—bright orange marigolds, lively drapes, and sunlit charm—created a festive and traditional vibe. Coordinating in shades of yellow and white, Palak wore a delicate yellow salwar kameez paired with floral jewellery, while Udit sported a playful white bandhgala featuring elephant prints.

Wedding – Red & Royal

For the wedding day, the couple embraced a “Red and Royal” theme that reflected the grandeur they had always dreamed of. The venue was adorned with lanterns, chandeliers, and elegant blooms, all bathed in a soft golden glow that added to the regal ambience. Palak looked ethereal in a classic red lehenga with intricate golden embroidery, complemented by a grand kundan and pearl necklace. Udit opted for an understated white sherwani with delicate golden butti work, elevated by a multi-strand necklace made of red gemstones—a perfect match to Palak’s ensemble.
