About Wedding
About the couple and their story (what they do, how did they meet, about the proposal, etc.)
From colleagues to a couple in love, Payal and Adhir’s romance wound its way through office projects and beyond. Their wedding was a feast for the senses with colors, dancing, elegant decor, and more. Adhir and Payal first met at work and even collaborated on a few assignments together. At that time, they had no idea that things would take such a pleasant turn someday! And surprisingly, kept in touch even though she switched jobs. Payal thought once they both starts meeting up as friends and not colleagues, something between both changed which allowed love to blossom.
A little overview of the various wedding functions (decor, themes, etc.) & any interesting anecdotes
MEHANDI
PASTEL HUES
Hosted at Hawa Mahal, JW MARRIOTT, the bride’s Mehandi was a lively affair. The bride shares, “I chose a proposal-themed Mehandi design that also consisted of a Blackberry messenger icon that Adhir and I used back in the day to communicate with each other. For the decor, we opted for pastel hues that reflected beautifully under the sunlit terrace. Additionally, we also had a live bangle counter, and our friends and family sang and danced to keep everyone in high spirits.”
Sangeet
Glamorous Lavenders
Fusing subtle glamour with elegance, we chose silver and lavender palette for the sangeet. The decor comprised profusions of pale white and purple blooms that adorned the aura in the most beautiful way. With lively performances by family members and friends, the evening was packed with happiness and joy.
WEDDING
ROYAL BLOOMS
Our duo always wanted a really nice ‘amphitheater type’ setting for their wedding ceremony. Payal gushed “Our big day had a circular floral mandap equipped with flower vases and a distinct entryway for the bride and groom. Being particular about my needs, I’d given the planning team all the details beforehand and was absolutely stunned when I clapped eyes on the mandap. They even added their own creative flourishes which matched everything beautifully.”
RECEPTION
“Giving glamour a healthy boost for the occasion, we chose a gold theme for the reception. Our friends had also planned a shoe game to keep everyone entertained. Adhir and I, along with all the guests, had immense fun sharing playful banter during the games.”
