Couple’s Story
Shashwata and Chetan’s wedding at The Leela Palace, Udaipur, was a beautiful celebration set against the scenic backdrop of Lake Pichola. The couple, who first met through a common friend in New York, bonded over their shared passion for meaningful work—especially Chetan’s involvement in India’s healthcare sector. A tequila-filled second date sealed their connection. Wanting an outdoor wedding to honor India’s natural beauty, they chose Udaipur for its cooler, drier June climate and fell in love with the regal charm of The Leela Palace during a trip to scout venues.
Wedding Highlights
The wedding festivities included a baby pink and gold-themed Mehendi, a cobalt blue color-coordinated sangeet, and a lively Haldi ceremony full of color and laughter. For the Wedding day, Shashwata wore a stunning deep red Sabyasachi lehenga, while Chetan matched in coordinating trousers and a white-and-gold kurta. Their pheras took place under a floral mandap overlooking the lake, with the celebration beautifully captured. Each event reflected their personalities and thoughtful planning, culminating in a memorable and elegant destination wedding.
