Surrounded by the majestic Aravalli mountains and shimmering waters of Udaipur, Romila and Trevor’s wedding was a celebration where two cultures beautifully merged, and every moment reflected elegance, warmth, and authenticity.
Rehearsal Dinner – Intimate Beginnings by the Lake
The festivities began with a cozy lakeside Rehearsal Dinner at Hotel Lakend, exclusively hosted for the couple’s bridesmaids and groomsmen. Framed by water and mountains, the evening embraced a romantic, minimalist mood. Candle-lit tables, soft breezes, and handcrafted cocktails set the tone for what was to come. It was a night of laughter, storytelling, and soaking in the Udaipur magic with their closest people.
Mehendi – A Courtyard Full of Color and Charm
Held in the serene courtyard of Hotel Fateh Garh, the Mehendi was a vision in delicate pastels and subtle textures. We let the natural beauty of the space shine through with floral drapes, hand-painted artwork, and soft accents woven into the existing architecture. A giant mirror installation at the entrance created a perfect photo-op, while the day unfolded with music, kite-flying, henna, and endless fun.
Sangeet – Starry Skies and Soulful Celebrations
Under a sky full of stars, we transformed the venue into a fairytale for the Sangeet. Layers of fairy lights, mirrored elephants, cabanas, and candles created a setting that was both ethereal and rooted in tradition. The night was alive with choreographed performances, emotional moments, and heartfelt bonding between two families coming together.
Haldi – A Whimsical Splash of Joy
Romila and Trevor’s Haldi was designed as a vibrant yet elegant affair. A canopy of marigolds and tuberoses framed their joyful moments as friends and family joined in the festivities with water balloons and colorful ‘pichkaris’. Romila made a graceful statement in a serene blue saree, breaking away from the conventional yellow, while floral jewelry completed her look. It was a morning of laughter, color, and connection.
Wedding – A Sunset Ceremony in Lavender & White
Set against the golden hues of sunset, the wedding was a picture-perfect blend of Indian traditions and Western elegance. Romila walked down a floral aisle in a sparkling white lehenga, while Trevor made a regal entrance on horseback with a lively baraat. The open-concept mandap featured delicate metallic frames, fresh lavender and white florals, and an ornate chandelier that caught the setting sun. The couple exchanged vows in a deeply personal ceremony, followed by their pheras, as their guests looked on with love.
Reception – A Magical End to a Beautiful Journey
The grand finale of this love-filled celebration was a dreamy Reception night. With hundreds of candles, floral installations, and a pathway of sparklers, the newlyweds made a breathtaking entrance. Their first dance, champagne pop, cake cutting, and emotional toasts created a warm, magical atmosphere that wrapped up their wedding journey in style.
