A palace beside a lake doesn’t need much help. Soft lighting at dusk and flowers that echo the garden usually go a long way. If you’re tempted by a big, bold look, it’s worth asking the hotel first what you can build or hang.
Think of the wedding as several events, not one. Welcome dinner, mehendi, haldi, ceremony, sangeet, reception: each wants different light and sound. It helps to know which space the hotel gives you for each before you fix the order.
And leave gaps. Guests need time to change, and the crew needs time to reset a room. For anything outdoors, get the rain plan in writing. Our wedding décor service covers all of this.
If your guests are flying in, picture their day: flight, transfer, check-in, first event. A simple timetable sent to every family before they travel saves a lot of phone calls.

There’s no single price. Dates, rooms, number of functions, guest count and the hotel’s own proposal all move the number. Ask the hotel for a written quote that spells out rooms, meals, spaces, taxes and extras.
Plenty sits outside that quote: décor, flowers, lighting, sound, entertainment, photography, transfers and a planner’s fee. Add them early so nothing surprises you later.
